To qualify for a 2011–2012 MPI MN Educational Scholarship, all applicants must meet the criteria listed below. The criteria will be evaluated on a point system. The applicant who receives the most points will be awarded an educational scholarship to his or her desired program.
The MPI MN Scholarship Committee will review all applications, select the winners, and present them to the VP of Finance. All information will be held in the strictest of confidence. Selected scholarship recipients will be announced at the May Awards Gala and Annual Meeting.
The MPI MN Scholarship Committee will consist of the following active members: one past president, one CMP member, one CMM member, and one past scholarship recipient. This task force will be directed by the Scholarship Committee Chair.

Requirements
- Educational Scholarship application form must be completed and submitted by no later than Friday April 15, 2011.
- Application must be an active MPI member in good standing for at least one year.
- Applicant must not be currently receiving other scholarship money from MPI (within the last two fiscal years; July 2009–June 2011).
- Scholarship recipient must write an article for MPI MN’s newsletter, Meeting of the Minds, after completion of scholarship event.
- At the May Awards Gala and Annual Meeting, a brief description of the scholarship recipients will be given from the podium.
- Application must include at least one letter of recommendation from a client, professional business associate, mentor, or supervisor. This letter may not be from a co-worker.
