COMMUNITY OUTREACH

The mission of the Community Outreach Committee is to raise awareness of charitable organizations that have an impact on our local communities and provide an opportunity to our members to give back.

The Community Outreach Committee has selected Tubman as the charity to support in 2011-2012. Monthly, we will be asking for donations of much-needed items; cash donations will also be accepted. There are also “Match Donation” opportunities available for individuals and corporations. Please click here to access the “Match” form.

Our team will be asking for volunteers to help with painting and cleaning at Tubman’s new facility in Washington County in November. In January, Tubman may need extra help with inventory and organizing. Also, their big April event, “April Showers,” will be collecting baby items—especially diapers. (Did you know Tubman goes through 75,000 diapers per year?!)
